At the young age of 3 Blake was first diagnosed with brain cancer (a grapefruit sized tumour). He then underwent his first 7 hour brain surgery, that he was not expected to make it through, and beat ALL the odds associated with that surgery.

Blake routinely went for MRIs and check ups and he even celebrated a few years of being cancer free. They were devastated to find out his cancer is back. Blake is now 7 years old who is fighting his second battle with brain cancer. He had another successful brain surgery at the end of May 2023 in Calgary and now for a second time he is undergoing a series of radiation treatments to help fight for his life in the USA.

Blake was given a 40% 5yr survival rate and likely will have a lot of complications post radiation. Unfortunately, this is the only treatment that is known to kill his cancer. As you can imagine the expenses for the family are great. They need to be in the states for a minimum of 3 months for Blake's treatments.
